The next best thing may be the getting of a few basic moves. There are some simple ones that can easily confuse any attacker into backing off. You don’t need to inflict major physical harm to get an attacker to think twice about continuing to mess with you. And the beauty of these simple moves is that you may even learn and practice them at home.
If you are a senior citizen, you may be aware of the fact that you belong to a group of people who seem to be easily targeted by unscrupulous muggers. If you are part of this group, be advised that there are things you can do to aid yourself become safe. Especially if you use your ATM at night. There is no reason for you to become a victim, no matter what the situation you may find yourself in.
Some people think that the best weapon against aggression is a gun. But there are ways to defend yourself that do not resort to lethal weapons. For one thing, you may basically not be the type of person who can actually shoot another human being. But if you have a nonlethal way of protecting yourself, that may well be your best alternative.
The fact is that personal self defense is not some unheard of luxury. So do think about getting on with the program. You can never tell when you may find yourself in a situation where knowing a few tricks may help you stay safe. And walk away without the worse for the wear and tear.
